Mark is one of our founding Partners. Born in the United Kingdom, Mark began his career in the City of London recruiting in the Banking and Financial markets. Whilst in London, Mark gained an in-depth knowledge of a number of key disciplines within the finance industry and successfully placed executives into middle and upper management positions.
Mark has been in Executive Search in Hong Kong for over 20 years and during this time has recruited for many of the top global and regional Private Equity funds, Investment Banks and Asset Managers. Mark helped to launch The Laurus Group following a short spell in the US and now runs our Alternative Investment team which includes coverage of Private Equity, Real Estate, Special Situations, capital raising and all other disciplines within the Alternative Investment space. He also retains oversight of our debt team. Under his leadership our Alternatives team has developed a strong reputation for their ability to deliver results and their knowledge and expertise in their given space. Prior to The Laurus Group Mark had been Managing Director of a Hong Kong based boutique Executive Search firm. During his tenure as Head of their Hong Kong office, that company was ranked as one of the most highly regarded executive search firms in the Asia Pacific region.
